Recognitions and Achievements
Sustainability Award 2024: SIT has been included in the prestigious list of the 100 most virtuous Italian companies for sustainable development, social responsibility, and environmental respect. This recognition, awarded by the Sustainability Award 2024, honors companies that have stood out in their sector by combining innovation with a genuine commitment to sustainability.
This year, SIT has been recognized in all categories of the initiative:

- TOP 75 INNOVATION FOR SUSTAINABILITY
The German Institute for Quality and Finance has identified the 500 Italian companies that represent the TOP JOBS – Italy’s Best Employers 2024-2025, and among the top national results in the mechanical sector, SIT ranks fifth with a score of 88.53 out of 100.
Marisa Bellisario Award: SIT has received the prestigious award “Work-Life Balance Friendly Company” established by the Marisa Bellisario Foundation in collaboration with Confindustria, now in its eighth edition. The award is aimed at large companies that have distinguished themselves in the field of gender equality and in enhancing the role of women in the company and the economy, implementing concrete and innovative policies.
Since 2020, SIT’s ESG performance has been certified by EcoVadis, an international rating agency that measures the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) performance of companies. In 2024 SIT obtained the coveted GOLD medal, improving its score and earning 77 points out of 100. The overall performance obtained places SIT in the 98th percentile, and therefore in the 2% of the most sustainable companies assessed by EcoVadis.
Sustainability Award 2023: SIT has won the Sustainability Award 2023, an award promoted by Kon Group and Elite (Euronext) in partnership with Azimut. The award recognizes Italian companies that have demonstrated the best ability to innovate, renew, and mobilize their best energies, promoting sustainable, inclusive, and stable growth and creating added value for all stakeholders. SIT secured the top position in the “Top 100 ESG Score” ranking, reserved for companies with a turnover exceeding 250 million euros.
ESG.ICI 2024: SIT S.p.A. remains at the top of the ExtraTop100 category of the ESG Identity Corporate Index (ESG.ICI 2024), an index developed by ET.Group that measures the integration of sustainability into corporate strategies.
Leader della Sostenibilità: SIT has been included in the “Sustainability Leaders 2024,” a list of the 240 most sustainable and transparent Italian companies in reporting, categorized by economic size among large, medium, and small enterprises. This list was compiled by Statista in collaboration with Il Sole 24 Ore.
CDP: SIT has received the “C Awareness” rating from the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), an international non-profit organization that provides businesses, local authorities, governments, and investors with a global system for environmental measurement and reporting.
In April 2023 SIT obtained the Gender Equality Certification for the Italian companies of the Group, following the UNI/PDR 125:2022 reference standard.
